Hi Everyone! 

Firstly thank you for stopping by my page :)

In April I'll be jumping off my yoga mat and out of my comfort zone to participate in one of this years Tough Mudder events (Finsbury Park)... Yes we are going all out and will be running, sliding and climbing side by side with some of my wonderful colleagues from BVA BDRC to complete the 10K obstacles course (did someone mention electric shocks?)!

I'm participating in the Tough Mudder UK event to raise money for 'Meeting Needs', a UK registered charity headed up by some of the leading figures in the events industry. This charity is close to our hearts here at BVA BDRC, having been supported for many years by our VenueVerdict Event Planner Feedback programme, which makes a donation for every survey response received. 

Meeting Needs is a fundraiser and a grant giver, asking supporters to raise and donate money so they can make a difference in struggling communities across the UK and around the world. A team of volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the funds raised go to worthy causes. 

Some of the charities they have supported in the past include; Glads House, which helps homeless children with educational and basic essentials; North London Cares, which supports the elderly and sick who may feel isolated and lonely by giving them the friendship of others in their neighbourhood, and Clowns without Borders, who support children affected by war, conflict and natural disaster to heal, learn and thrive through play.
